As we look into the future of the ministry, we see an enormous potential for local missions. Living in a city such as Dallas, with a diverse mosaic of ethnicities and social structures, provides us with opportunities to serve in our own backyard. This year we are looking to team up with Adventures in Missions for a week long mission in the heart of Dallas. This may not be your typical mission trip, but once your students realize that the poor and oppressed live amongst them, their worldview will be drastically changed. Your students will work with the homeless and poor of Dallas, providing food and various service projects, as well as assisting with VBS and sports evangelism activities.
Students will be encouraged to raise money for the mission trip, but scholarships will be available.
