It’s camp once again! What a great time we had last year and we expect this year to be the same, if not better! We will be returning once again to Orange Beach. This is such a great place for our students to experience some time together and a good time for all of us to get away and experience God in a fresh new way. Plus it’s always a fun time for all! We love to build relationships at camp.

This year we will be working together to raise money for camp costs so please take a careful look at the plans for this year’s camp experience and pray about how you may be able to participate. We will also be requiring all particpants to register online NO LATER THAN Sunday March 28th, with no add-ons after that point! So please be sure to take time and pray about this year’s camp experience. A $25 deposit is also required. Click here to pay online. We want as many people to go as possible so I hope you will decide to join us in coming along as well as raising money for this year’s camp experience. Take care and we’ll see you at the beach!

Theme

This year’s camp theme is Re: and speaks to actively responding to the call of Christ in our lives. Other Re: words include return, repent, respect, rejoice, and represent; all words that speak directly to the Gospel and God’s desire for everyone of us. With such a central focus on the Gospel, Student Life allows our students each year to reflect deeply on their own walk with Christ

Who and What

Speaker: David Nasser - David, at the age of nine, was forced to escape his native homeland of Iran with his family. They left everything behind but each other, escaping to the United States in hopes of beginning a new life in a vastly different culture. He always felt like an outsider growing up, however, David found true acceptance, at the age of eighteen, when through the persistent witness of a body of believers, David received salvation and purpose through a deep and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Part speaker, author, visionary and ALL minister, David Nasser’s greatest passion is to connect people to the living God. David uses relevant methods to communicate the life-changing messages of the gospel to more than 700,000 people annually. David and his family live in Alabama, the home of D. Nasser Outreach.

Worship: Unhindered - Delivering compelling melodies, prominent hooks, energetic performances, and lyrics that are full-to-bursting with honest expressions of worship and adoration, Be is destined to become a classic example of next generation worship. From the fist-pumping, crowd pleaser, “We Will,” to the frenetic punk-inflected, “Light This World,” to the piano-driven worship ballad, “Father Will You Come,” Unhindered shatters any preconceived notions of what next generation worship is supposed to look like. The album’s debut radio single, “You Are My Creator,” is a powerful corporate worship tune, while “No Other Name” sets the tone for a more intimate worship experience. “Who Is Like The Lord” opens with a spoken word monologue, while album-closer “Farewell Lullabye” features a soft, acoustic sound. But, while the songs range far and wide, one thing remains constant; both musically and lyrically, Unhindered exists to encourage honest, unhindered worship to a holy God.
