First Tuesday Men's Gathering

First Tuesdays seek to sharpen the lives and leadership of men. Proverbs 27.17 says, Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. For iron to sharpen iron it must touch. So, it is with men. They must engage with each other in life. First Tuesdays will not only gather men together, but also train and teach them. This monthly gathering will also include time for accountability and the sharing of opportunities to serve others.

The strands time will be a time for strengthening relationships thru prayer, study, and accountability. Ecclesiastes 4.12 says, A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart. This will be done in groups of three. The strands will for the most part be men who are in the same Lifegroup, those men not in a LIFEgroup will be associated in strands too. This time is set apart for men to build and extend friendship that will go beyond first Tuesdays and throughout the week.
Men need opportunities to serve. At the close of our monthly gatherings we will share service opportunities or needs within the church and in our community.
