Why LIFEgroups ?
We live in a society where people value community; yet are more isolated than ever before. People crave relationships; yet have lost places to find them. As the church we should place great emphasis on community. Why? Because Christ did. In John 17:23 Jesus prays that all believers may “be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”
This unity is achieved through building relationships with people who are also seeking a deeper relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Throughout the New Testament the Bible repeatedly uses the term “one another” as it encourages people to pursue God in community with other people. At Vista Ridge we believe that LIFEgroups are vital to providing relationships, connection, and accountability, all of which are essential to spiritual growth.
