Welcome to Kidz Town!
We offer two different programs for Elementary Students on Sunday Mornings.
9:00am -Outside The Lines
At the 9:00am Hour we offer a missions education class called "Outside The Lines" that is produced by The Caleb Project. It is identical to a Perspectives Missions Class only taught from a child's point of view. Each week in Outside The Lines children learn about different cultures and Bible stories that relate to missions education in those various countries of teh world. Children also play games and eat snacks that are indegidious to the regions they are learning about.
11:00am Elevate "Children's Worship Program"
Elevate teaches children K-5th grade how to apply Bible concepts and stories to their daily lives with a fun, creative approach. Each week children experience a three part adventure: 1)an opening activity, 2)a large group teaching time with skit and Bible story, and 3)a small group time with several choices of activities.
Fun and engaging worship is offered to open each Elevate class along with dramatic Bible story presentations that drive the lessons home.
During this 2007/2008 calendar year, we will explore seven series:
1. Berry Blast Theme Park
A thrill ride through the Fruit of the Spirit.
2. Sports Spectacular
A study of the Apostles of Christ upon the backdrop of a sports theme.
3. Fractured Fables
Developing the noble character God wants you to have.
4. Journey Below the Earth- January -February
Lessons on the foundation of faith.
5. Zooplosion April-May
Learning lessons from the animals of the Bible.
6. Starlight Station!- June- July
An out of this world exploration of the life of Joseph.
7. Spy Chase - August- September
Tracking down the Prophets of the Bible.
8. To The Depths! An Undersea Adventure! - October- November
Diving deep into the book of James
9. "Get Ready For Christmas" November - December
Lesson 1 is about HOPE, and will tell the story of when the angel Gabriel brought
amazing news to Mary that she was going to give birth to the Son of
God.
Lesson 2 is where we talk about PREPARE, and how John the Baptist prepared the
way for Jesus' ministry.
Lesson 3 is our Christmas story, and the lesson in a word is GIVE. God gave us His
one and only Son on Christmas, and so we give gifts to remind us of
this amazing gift God gave us so long ago.
Lesson 4 we SEEK with the three wise men and the shepherds.
Lesson 5 is GROW, and just how Jesus grew up, and grew closer to His heavenly
Father. Jesus didn't stay a baby in a manger, He grew up...and so
should we!
