The Ridge Preschool
In the Fall of 2008, we are launching The Ridge Preschool located in The Ridge Church at 4561 N Josey Ln., Carrollton, TX 75010. We are excited about the opportunity to assist families in laying a spiritual and educational foundation for their children's future success. Our preschool provides a strong Christian academic curriculum which includes spiritual, academic and social components. We use Bible Bites as the primary tool for spiritual development, and the Wee (Weekday Early Education) academic curricula for educational preparation. These curricula, supplemented with time proven activities and coordinated social interaction work together to create a balanced educational experience. All classes, Toddler through PreK 4's have an established, daily routine with planned age appropriate activities for their stimulation and growth.
Children attend weekly classes that include music and motion, art, physical education, and cooking. On Tuesdays we have Chapel, where all children participate in praise and worship, puppetry and a Bible stories. Group time on Thursdays focuses on academic fundamentals. We have experienced classroom teachers who love kids, enjoy teaching, and feel led to the ministry of preschool-aged children. With smaller classrooms and lower student to teacher ratios, we are committed to providing a fresh and challenging educational experience.
We invite you to visit us and see what we have to offer your family. Preferred times for a tour are Tuesdays or Thursdays between 9:30 and 11:30; however, other times can be scheduled. Program Licensing
Although we are a license exempt facility, we meet or exceed state mandates for liscensed childcare facilities.
