The Ridge

Breakout is designed to guide children, grades three through fifth, toward spiritual maturity. The areas of growth covered in Breakout are Knowing Christ (Optional for new believers), Growing in Christ (Year 1), Serving Christ (Year 2), and Sharing Christ (Year 3). Children work through one book each year in their small group, where they are encouraged to develop relationships with their leaders and with other children. Each child begins in the first book, entitled “Break In” and will advance to the next book the following year.

Break In, How to Know Christ: 101
Students will learn and discuss topics such as salvation, baptism and communion.

Break Through, How to Grow in Christ: 201
Each student will grow in the wisdom and learning of who Christ is, while learning and discussing topics such as fellowship, giving and worship. Students are encouraged to memorize the books of the Bible in order.

Break Away, How to Serve Christ: 301
Students discover their S.H.A.P.E. (through Personality and Spiritual Gifts tests) and how they can best use the gifts God has given them.

Break Out, How to Share Christ: 401
Students learn about evangelism and how to share their faith with others. With a mission trip to follow in the summer.

Classes will be opening to the entire community in Fall 2008 so be sure to tell your friends and family about this wonderful program. The Cost is $40 for the fall semester which includes all supplies including (A Notebook, canvas bag, craft supplies, prizes, games and worship) Then in the Spring a $15 supply fee is collected to cover continuing (Prizes and Crafts).
