Seventh Jesus Well
This well is located in the village of Puchiabramaha in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. Pastor Poulus Kumar has a small church here and is looking after the well.
Most of the people in Puchiabramaha are daily laborers and there was no water facility in the village. So the people would drink polluted water and would often fall sick. Now they are blessed with this Jesus Well and are getting plenty of pure water to meet their needs. Through this Jesus Well Project, many people are influenced and 15 new members are now attending the church.
Sixth Jesus Well
This well is located in the village of Temri in the state of Orissa in India. Pastor Arabinda Saru is looking after the well. He pastors a church consisting of 24 believers.
Fifith Jesus Well
This well is located at Gospel for Asia’s Bible College in Bilaspur, in the state of Chhattisgarh in India. Pastor Edmund Patel is looking after this well. In addition to his duties at the Bible College, Brother Patel pastors a church of 150 believers. The students of our Bible College were facing water shortage and had to travel a good distance to draw water. There is also a village named Mangla, which is near by the Campus. The people in Mangla did not have any public bore well. Therefore, the student of our campus and the people from Mangla village are benefited through this Jesus Well. Moreover, the people who are passing through that way, especially the laborers, are benefiting from this Well. Everyday around 200 people are helped through this Jesus Well. This project is a great help for the Pastor’s to share the Gospel with all the people who are helped through this Jesus Well.
Fourth Jesus Well
This well is located in the village of Ghurikabar, in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. The pastor of the local church is Brother Ganga Ram. The caste system is very prevalent in Ghurikabar. Only the high caste people had a well, and they would not allow low caste people to draw water from it. The high caste people also believe that Christians are low casts and they are looked down upon. Now this Jesus Well has become a great blessing for the believers as well as the poor people, or Dalits, in the community as they are able to obtain good water without harassment. The well is also a bridge to develop a relationship with the non-Christians in the area. There is a Bridge of Hope Center nearby and the well is also a great help to the children and the teachers at the center. Around 160 people are coming to draw water from this well on a daily basis. Through this Jesus Well project around 25 people have started attending church services and several now believe in Jesus Christ. Thank you for your kind gift to help make this possible!
Third Jesus Well
This well is located in India is impacting the village of Maulipadi, in the state of Gujarat. The people of Maulipadi were using water from a pipeline which was coming from a canal after purification. However, this water was not properly purified. Due to this, many of the children fell sick. So this Jesus Well has become a great help and blessing for the people of the village. There are around 20 families benefiting from this well on a daily basis. The pastor of the local church is Brother Koma Janku Valvi. There are 55 members in the church.
Second Jesus Well
This well is impacting the village of Ramkola, in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. The pastor of the local church is Brother Shamsher Kumar. The people of Ramkola were facing water shortages. This well is a great help for the people in the village. Around 95 people are coming everyday to draw water from this well. To date, 20 people have come to the saving knowledge of Christ as their Savior.
First Jesus Well
This is the first well that the church so generously gave to people in India and it is impacting a village in Assam, India! The missionary working in that area is Rowelson Rasbongsi. He and his wife Runu minister to the Hindus in the Assam area. They lead Gospel meetings, home prayer fellowships, house-to-house visitation, literature distribution and Sunday School ministry all with the goal of bring the Good News of salvation to the lost. Please pray for Rowelson and Runu. Also, be in prayer for the Hindus in Assam that God would turn their hearts to Him. Also, thank you for your kindness last Advent in giving $10,000 to build 10 Jesus wells in Asia.
Praise God for fresh, safe water that not only brings about healthy lives, but also is a tool to bring the Living Water to lost people.
