Overview
the breakdown >>
For the summer, students will meet together from 6:00-9PM. We will spend some time in fellowship and allow students opportunities to get plugged into events, ministry opportunities and other happenings in the community. Afterwards, groups will move into a deep study of Scripture. Our desire is to get our students on board with their faith in a challenging enviornment to produce true spiritual formation.

Ephesians is a great book for a new believer. It’s also a great book for those looking to remind themselves of who Christ has made us to be. It reminds the believer that we are saved by God’s grace alone (Eph. 2.8-9) and encourages us to live by the Spirit (Eph 2.22, 3.16, 4.30). Ephesians clearly lays out the standard for Christ-centered living. We are called to great things as Christ-followers. Paul says, “Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:15–16 ESV).
It is so important that we continue to know how God wants us to live as Christians. It’s also important to know that we can’t do it on our own. Ephesians tells us both of these things. It provides hope to the believer because it shows us that God chose us to do good works for him, and in turn will give us strength to do so (Eph. 2.10). I pray that this short study in Ephesians will encourage all of us to hold one another accountable in our Christian walk as well as convict us personally to walk closer to him. What an encouragement to know that we have been chosen to do great things for him (Eph. 1.4-6). Now let’s go live like it!
