For the summer, students will meet together from 6:00-9PM. We will spend some time in fellowship and allow students opportunities to get plugged into events, ministry opportunities and other happenings in the community. Afterwards, groups will move into a deep study of Scripture. Our desire is to get our students on board with their faith in a challenging enviornment to produce true spiritual formation.

Why should we love? What is motivation for loving God and each other? Simply put, God. We find in Scripture that God is the ultimate revealer of love, a love that is unheard of anywhere else. God's love is extradorinarily seen in Christ. This is our basis for love in the church and how we are to show to others that we belong to him (John 13:35). Our main mark as believers is to be love!

This summer, during LIFEgroups and our time at The Gathering, we will study through the book of 1 John and explore different facets of love. We will challenge one another to love God more fervently, love each other selflessly and find ways to love a world that is dark and lonely without the light of Christ. We invite you to join us on this journey we are calling Summer of Love!
