Strangers at the Door

Last night as we were about to sit as a family and do our Advent reading together the door bell rang.  I opened the door and at the door were three teenagers and two adult men.  I did not know them.  I immediately said to them, Are you caroling?  They said, nope.  We are actually at the wrong door. My family joined me at the door to see what was going on.  I said to our strangers at the door, You have to do a carol.  So, to my surprise they sang, Joy to the Word.  My two oldest got a kick out of it.  Pierce, my youngest, still has that look of, what in the world are these strangers doing at my door singing?

These strangers are actually friends.  They are believers who attend FBC The Colony.  They knocked on the wrong door as they were visiting a student from their church.  Their oops was our blessing.  Thanks to John and his gang from FBC The Colony for being good sports and leading our spontaneous worship gathering at the door.  Fun stuff.
