Don't Waste Your Life or Advent

Over the next five weeks my great desire to encourage you not to waste your life or your advent. Advent doesn’t begin until November 30 and runs through Dec 24. The word Advent comes from a Latin word that means coming, as it refers to the coming of the Son of God into the world to take on human flesh, as God in the flesh, the God-man, Jesus Christ AND also looks to His second coming, as after Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection He ascended into heaven where he reigns in all authority, He will return to bring those who are His followers to be with Him forever. So, the advent season is still a month away, but I want to prepare you for that season, but even beyond that I want to encourage you to not waste the years, months and each day the Lord has given you. So, today, we begin with asking the question, What is better than life? Paul is going to answer that question for us in Acts 20.
