Matthew: False Prophets

This week we continue our study of Matthew’s Gospel, as we look at Matthew 7.13-23.  Our focus today will be on Jesus’ warning.  In the past, there have been false prophets.  There will be in the future and there will be those who are false teachers and leaders in our present day as well.  Jesus takes this very serious and so should we.  We do not have to fear though because genuine believers can overcome them, because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.  May we be equipped and encouraged today.
