Generous Living: Part 2

2 Corinthians 8.6-15: The gospel is to shape every part of our life, including our finances.  Now, don’t run for the door and head to your car, but what we do with our money is important to God. While encouraging the Corinthians to continue their faithful giving, the Apostle Paul turns to the heart of the gospel saying, For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich. Christians are to practice gospel-shaped giving with Jesus Christ as our model and motivation to express the grace of Christ to others. Be encouraged today to live a radically generous life with what God has given you. As we will hear Paul say today, it is for your good!
