Matthew: The Way of the Kingdom of God
Speaker: Jerry Witham Series: Matthew's Gospel: The King and His Kingdom Topic: Kingdom of God Passage: Matthew 21:23–21:46
Matthew 21.23-46: As we continue in Matthew’s gospel this morning we see that the gospel of the Kingdom of God is truly good news, but to those who reject it forever tragic. Days before Jesus’ crucifixion we find Him confronted by the Jewish religious leaders and Jesus confronts them with a question and three parables. We will look at the question and two of the parables. As we do, we will see the way of the kingdom of God and the two possible responses to it. One is marvelous, while the other response brings great doom.
