Advent: The Greatness of Jesus

Speaker: Jerry Witham Series: Jesus, Fixing Our Eyes On Him Topic: Advent Passage: John 1:1–1:18

As we continue to fix our eyes on Jesus this Advent season, we look into a classic passage this morning to see the greatness of Jesus. In today’s text may we see more and more the greatness of Jesus, the greatness of His love and the greatness of His grace. In CS Lewis’ writing, Prince Caspian, in The Chronicles of Narnia, Lucy says to Aslan, “You’re bigger”. Aslan answered, “That is because you are older, little one.” Lucy responded, “Not because you are?” Aslan responds, “I am not. But every year you grow, you will find me bigger.” May we find Christ bigger today.
