Wonder to Witness

Speaker: Jerry Witham Series: iWitness Topic: Witness Passage: Isaiah 43:10–13

What have you ever seen that has caused you to just stand in awe and wonder? Maybe it is a scene in nature that with its beauty just thrilled you. It’s those scenes that you can still replay in your head (Waimea Canyon in Hawaii on Honeymoon; Whitewash Mts. In Peru; the terrain and view from the airplane trip from Mombassa Africa to Nairobi in Kenya). They are breathtaking scenes that your mind captures forever. It’s the awe and wonder as your soon-to-be wife enters the back door of the church and walks down the aisle to where you are.
So, we get awe, we get wonder, we get what it means to be thrilled and amazed at something or someone. Today I want to pose two questions: Do we have great wonder and awe of God? And what do we do with that wonder and amazement?
