Let Christ Be Our Supreme Pleasure

History shows us that humanity has loved the worldly, sensual, loveless and egotistical pleasures of this world. Paul shows us today, that even though Israel experienced God’s great grace in His loving guidance, protection and deliverance they too gave into the pleasures of the world. As Christians, who have also experienced God’s great grace, we are not immune from such evil cravings. Just as Israel needed to, so do we need to see God in Jesus Christ as our supreme pleasure. May God grant us a deep hunger for Him and His Word that we may truly behold Jesus Christ as our supreme pleasure.
