Isaiah: True Worship
Speaker: Jerry Witham Series: Isaiah: Hope Passage: Isaiah 66:1–24
You and I were created to worship God and to enjoy Him forever. That is why God made each one of us. But this world is not all that God intended it to be from the beginning. We have ruined creation by thinking we would be better off defining for ourselves what our existence should be. God made us for true worship of Him, but we have settled for false worship. So, the message of Isaiah has been that the world is in trouble, but there is hope, for God takes responsibility for what was our fault. He does something about mankind’s problem by not just patching things up, but His answer is Jesus and New Heavens and New Earth. So, Isaiah invites us from chapter 1 to chapter 66 to true worship of Jesus. We were made for this…true worship.
