Getting in Sync with God about Marriage: Awakening Marriages to Divine Order

Ephesians 5.22-33: Last Sunday, we began our new marriage series. God desires for us to get in sync with Him about marriage. Last week, we learned that marriage was God’s doing and design to display His glory through the showcase of His covenant-keeping grace. Today we begin to look at how that purpose is fulfilled through the specific roles that God gives husbands and wives in this one flesh relationship. It is time for godly husbands and wives to awaken to God’s divine calling. As the apostle Paul encourages us, may we be subject to one another in the fear of Christ (Ephesians 5.21).
