Good Friday: His Body and Blood

Jesus greatly anticipated the Passover meal with the disciples this last time before He would go to the cross. At the table He spoke to and pictured the ultimate Passover, which would play out over the next few days with his death on the cross, His burial and resurrection. He suffered, bearing in His body the sins of the world and pouring out His blood to redeem those who would repent and believe in Him. Let us be thankful this Good Friday for the body and blood of Jesus. Both are given "for you". What great love pictured at the table and fully displayed just hours later on the cross.
