Malachi: Honoring Our Majestic Father

As we began our series in Malachi last week, we saw the greatness of God’s free, unconditional, sovereign and electing love. The Israelites had failed to see that. As we move further through chapter one we see that they failed to see the greatness of God’s majestic fatherhood as well. But, it is interesting who God calls out. He calls out the priests. They had literally become bored with God. Their worship had become careless and merely ritualistic. They were going through the motions. So, today we will look at the greatness of God, the essence of careless worship and what worship God desires.
