Minor Prophet: Major Message - Obadiah

Obadiah, the shortest of the minor prophets, delivers a very major prophecy toward Edom. Edom was a nation at odds with Israel. For generations it had been antagonistic toward God’s people. Their bitterness and anger stems from something that still affects us all – pride. It can be a subtle deceiver or an obvious flaw. We try and excuse it but God won’t tolerate it. Pride leads to so many things in our lives. As we look at God’s word regarding Edom we can learn so much about our own prideful tendencies.
