Matthew: The Resurrection of Jesus
Speaker: Jerry Witham Series: Matthew's Gospel: The King and His Kingdom Topic: Jesus Passage: Matthew 28:1–28:15
Matthew 28.1-15: What if everything hung on one event in history? As we continue in Matthew’s Gospel, we come to that one event that everything hangs on. The resurrection of Jesus is that game changer. It truly changes everything. There are those who view the resurrection of Jesus with skepticism, while others have a settled trust of its occurrence and spiritual effects for them. Today we look at Matthew’s account surrounding the resurrection, what it means for those who believe in it and the power it has to change us. May it be so, that our faith and hope would be in God because of the resurrection of Jesus.
