Matthew: How Shall the Church Live?

The reality is eternity is a very long time, while are time on earth is very short. Are we ready for eternity? Are we ready for the day of judgment? Are we ready to see Jesus face to face? While we wait until that time when we pass into eternity, what will our life look like? Jesus tells the church in the parable today to not judge the world. This is not our job. It is God’s alone. So, as we live in the world we live forever on guard and without judgment toward the world. Instead we are to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world.
