Responding to What’s Trending

How do we respond to what is trending in our culture? Sadly, some Christ-followers disengage and retreat from the world while seeking to protect themselves. Just as sad, others rise up in vitriolic anger and condemn the world with final-word-contempt.

While we are not to declare war on culture we must realize that culture often declares war on us. And, we must respond. But how? Today we are going to look at three responses of God’s people in Daniel, Jeremiah, and Acts. Every follower of Jesus in every historical era has lived with ideological struggles. May we be obedient to God’s word and humbly vigilant as we actively converse with others.
