Transformation: Conformed to Christ, Not the World

Is being transformed into the image of Christ appealing to you? This is an important question, because for those who know Christ as Savior this is our destiny. The Apostle John says, when we see Christ we will be like Him (1 John 3.2). For Christians this is the road we are to be moving forward on. It is the road of transformation. We are to continually become more and more like Jesus and not be conformed to this world. This is what Paul has been emphasizing in Romans 12 the last couple of weeks and today we continue there with the emphasis of not being conformed to the world’s beliefs, thinking and ways, but instead being transformed and becoming more and more conformed to the image of Christ. May we rededicate ourselves to the Lord today and each day to be less and less like the world and more like Him.
